I've always noticed Modern design Jet strikers to be like if it was just two halves of a jet strapped to the legs of a witch, however it doesn't follow the cannon design of how Strikers are already portrayed, basicly the "front" of the aircraft would be the bottom of the striker and the Witches legs would go through the rear of the aircraft, not the nose, only thing you'd have to do is switch the intake and the exhaust around and do some remodelling to make it fit more with how the Prop Strikers are designed.

But that's just my take on it.

Not all of the original prop Strikers were done the same way, though, if I'm not mistaken. The Zero, I think, was done with the tail at the rear, like this.

It's a little easier to pull off this look when you don't have to worry about where the engine and prop need to be in order to get the right look.
Doing my own aircraft based characters, jets are a lot easier to depict than props.
