Really sad when people see this, and the first thing they do is drool over the gun and list every friggin' detail about it.
Thank you, but this isn't a catalog, and it sure as fuck isn't Wikipedia. Save the specifics for the tags.

Given the great number of artists who lavish extensive attention on the weaponry in this kind of picture its obvious that the firearm and the details thereof are part of the appeal to the author, much less the audience. You're just like those cunts that look up porn they don't like, then post on it whining about how other people like it.

tl;dr shut the fuck up

@Demetrious Really? if the artist really cared so much about the detail of the gun just because he/she was a big firearm buff then the artist would probably have a lot more art with guns (but instead a lot of it I fantasy type art and there isn't one other picture on their pixiv page that centers around guns) I really doubt this artist was mostly focused on the gun, it seems more like he was focused on the character, this isn't just a picture of a random girl who the artist drew with a gun. The artist put at much detail into everything else just as much as your little gun.

Really sad when people see something, and comment on something relevent to the picture, and then someone else comes along and makes a big stink over it.

Is there some stupid rule that says somebody can't comment on one part of the piece of artwork in question? Would it have been better if they had commented on her bicycle shorts(?), rather than the weapon she, specifically, uses, which is in and of itself a detail relating to the character? If so, why? Why does it matter what someone decides to comment on, so long as it's relevent to the picture?

The primary point of focus of the picture doesn't matter; the whole thing is made up of numerous details, any of which should be fair game to comment on.

Late to the party. The picture is literally about guns.
