Enough people visit the site for work-safe things that there's an option in your account settings to filter everything else out.

Since the 60% safe vs. 21% questionable and 19% explicit has held pretty steady for over 3 years now, I'd say that there's certainly a large enough number of people who come here for safe images, even if many of them also visit the site for porn as well.

Just because you only use Gelbooru for porn does not mean that you can assume that everyone else does. That's called projection bias, and it's completely fallacious reasoning.
