Timestamps on the pictures refer to the time of day each carrier went down at Midway. Kaga and Soryu were sunk by American dive bombers within minutes of each other, Akagi a few hours later along with one of its cruisers. Hiryu survived the initial bombardment by breaking away from the main carrier group but was found and sunk the next day.
