Most of the slapstick in this show is from women to women. There is a group of 5 female characters whose role is basically to be the "Team Rocket" of this show.

@Anon1 Yes, that is what this is. For the more common approach of men beating on defenseless women for erotic effect I suggest you look at the 'rape' tag. I think you might like it more.
