I liked this story arc, but it would have been better if it didn't completely pass up the oppourtunity to let Rito finally shine. Here they are, in a virtual reality game obviously based on Dragon Quest, where Rito, the supposed main character, could finally take center stage and not have to hide behind his superpowered alien girlfriends because he's just a weak human, but then he gets saddled with a randomly-selected useless joke class.

He was still more useful than he usually is though, due to him being the only person there who knew how turn-based RPGs worked and his useless joke class having one useful ability that only does anything if you use it in the final battle, but still.
