I think the curse makes things more deadly than they should be. Though that his her full body weight and the running start down the stairs working along with a sharp umbrella tip.

Yes aside from it basically being Bloody Mary the anime it has a fairly story structure but dam it has alot of brutal points like an anime you might expect the characters of Metalocalypse to watch.
