I have a feeling when Pokemon first came out (Red, Blue and Green) Kids were probably scared of Haunter, that this same scene popped into their heads.

Wouldn't the original pokemon have been Red, Blue, and Yellow; Since Green was only in Japan until it released worldwide as Blue?

Anyways Haunter was/is actually one of my favorite pokemon in the originals; he was the 1st I got to level 100 (without the Missingno, dupe rare candy glitch) and he's always the 1st pokemon I've hunted for in every game since.
