Um, actually, eel's do have fins, one set of pectoral fins, a dorsal fin, caudal fin, and an anal fin (yes, anal fin), dont believe me? look it up in an encyclopedia or something, also ive known people with eels and they defiantly had fins, though it might also be a lung fish, one species looks alot like an eel, but not quite this much so its not likely, anyway, now that im out of nerd mode, i wonder how that would feel.
