If in bushes, randomly Skarner will act like a pokekon and say his name. Therefore he is a pokemon. The rest should be easy.

Skarner, yes, has a "hidden joke" that occasionally plays when he leaves a brush by calling out his name.

The other half of this joke is that Kalista's ultimate basically launches the bonded champion out at the opponents into battle, similarly represented by the Pokeball.
