It's not that bad being a sailor. You can still make a decent living and find a pretty, young wife. Brazilianas and Filipinas seem to make some of the best candidates ;)

As a self employed-farmer with a pretty young wife, I have to say it ain't too bad. The Ford 8N is probably lower maintenance than the wife though.
