Maybe it just wants to be warm? I mean, I dunno if possessed sword Pokemon experience heat and cold like we do, but if they do, maybe it just wants to bundle up for the weather.

Its a sword which is metal, and metal as we all know conducts cheat very well, so I think if Aegi can feel hot/cold they probably feel it way more than most other non metal Pokemon.
