They have failed to capture the younger gamers and because of that it's just a matter of time until they lose out. Now it's just Call of Duty, mobile games, and pretentious indie games(all indie games) that dominate the scene. Kids in school don't even know what Nintendo is.

They let F-Zero die off. They let Star Fox die off. They let Metroid die off. Next will be Mario and finally Legend of Zelda.

Yeah no. Just because Call of Duty and mobile games are the in thing right now, doesn't mean kids don't play anything else. Hell, I've seen kids in Gamestops getting Nintendo games. Calling Indie games pretentious is just plan stupid, and I'll leave it at that.

Also, Mario, Star Fox and Zelda are coming out for Wii U this year and Retro's apparently teased Metroid a few times, so no to that too.

This gif is also very old, but I still like seeing it.

His Metroid info is coming from desperate fans. They had a chance to at least make a 2D game on the DS and 3DS and still nothing. Other M killed Metroid permanently.

Luigi-dude- Mario Maker, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Mario Party 10, Puzzles and Dragons Mario Edition. Most likely just meant main series 3D games. The Metroid info is just what I've been seeing around. That's why I said apparently.
