Ike is 21 by the end of Radiant Dawn and I predict Samus to be 25 (judging from Other M since it was revealed that she was around 17 while being part of the GF) so I think they're both a little too old to be wearing school uniforms, but I like it.

According to the timeline Samus was born in the galactic year 2055, with Other M taking place in the galactic year 2080, making her indeed 25.

Note that the galactic calendar is not the same as our own calendar, so crossovers between Metroid and, say, F-Zero and Star Fox are not impossible because they take place in different centuries.
