Sorry, but don't put me in the same boat with those guys who actually thought Sakura would see Naruto as anything more than a friend.
Btw, maybe I wasn't clear enough, but I find Naruto to be the greatest garbage in series, far more than even Hinata.
For me, there were only Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke as main characters; Naruto was just canon filler comic relief character whose only purpose was to fill the panels with annoying talking; and calling killer of his parents, and friends coolest guys.

Sakura a main character? Yeah, cuz she was so useful, what with half her panels being crying about Sasuke and the other half sobbing about him while letting Naruto be the only one who does shit about him

Yeah, Kishimoto had NO clue what to do with her. Then again, all the female characters got a raw deal when it came to plot relevancy, screen time, and character arc. Heck, Hinata was the only one who had a clear arc that had a conclusion and that was mostly due to Pierrot expanding her character and using The Last as the capstone for her.

Yeah, Kishimoto had NO clue what to do with her. Then again, all the female characters got a raw deal when it came to plot relevancy, screen time, and character arc. Heck, Hinata was the only one who had a clear arc that had a conclusion and that was mostly due to Pierrot expanding her character and using The Last as the capstone for her.

Yeah, now that I think about Hinata is the only female character who even has a fully established backstory - The only thing we know about Sakura's past is that she was bullied for having a forehead and dumped the only person who was decent enough to console her for a guy who didn't even know she existed, and it ultimately doesn't matter because they fix that quick and in part 2 they barely even talk - Hinata had family issues, self esteem issues, and a sense of alienation, which, now that I think about it, would've made her a much more fitting heroine than Sakura - But, ultimately none of that mattered because all Kishi focused on was her thing with Naruto.
The other females might as well not even be in the series, especially once part 2 started.
