Regarding the tumblr link: Big words, small view. While the cognative dissonance part is interesting (cause it come from a real essay), in the end it's just another fan intellectual masturbation (a rant) over pairing in disguise. Also, it ultimately gloss over the fact that some pros and antis are using the same methods and are equally as agressive when they're stupid. Let people think what they want,it's not like pairing a matter of life and death... Besides, The Last with chapter 699 and 700 are two very different things for completly different audience target. What is not the manga, stay out of the manga.
