I remember Anko, Dark Grasper thinking Aika was Twoearle due to Aika wearing the Tailblue gear when Dark Grasper first appeared infront of them. Twoearle even mentioned that tailblue was her old tailgear as a excuse for the confusion.

Twoearle originally owned the tailblue gear, then removed her twintail affinity to create the tailred gear, which is why she can't use the tailblue gear anymore.

i don't know if it's been said who's affinity the tailblue gear was created from.
