As someone who specializes in tomboys I can assure you that Cindy is not a tomboy. Her dress, manner of speaking, and general behavior are all feminine. She is a Victoria's Secret model that happens to be a mechanic. Just fixing cars doesn't make you a tomboy.

Her Japanese name is Cidney. Changing it to "Cindy" makes no sense, seeing as she's meant to be XV's Cid.
