That may be true, Anon 4, but that's not the problem here. Looking at various game's 'Dex entries we're told this;
"It can float just slightly using its wings."
"It can fly just a little."
Now, I may not be a Pokémon Biologist, but that doesn't look like floating just slightly. That looks like a fully functioning pair of wings.

@ Anon1- You kidding? If the Pokédex was accurate Magcargo would burn hotter than the sun, Machamp would be capable of throwing a thousand punches in seconds with each arm strong enough to push a mountain, and Rhyperior could laugh off a volcanic eruption.
What I want to know is why does Ash want a Dunsparce so badly? That's been a running gag for a while now.

I was half-joking. Of course there's a few ridiculous 'Dex entries out there, but I sorta' assumed that Dunsparce's were true, since they seemed legit. That being said, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised if information about it is off, since it's based off of the Tsuchinoko.
Also, not that it matters much, but I think Rhyperior COULD tank a volcanic eruption, because... Y'know, Rock-types resist Fire-types. But on a more serious note, stone tends to be used for casting molten metals.
