"... Excuse me Sir, but that's OUR sister."

"WHAT?!? But she's lived with us all her life! She's OUR sister, dammit!"

... Yeah, this is exactly why I'm hoping that third path DLC can find some way to peacefully resolve the conflict between Hoshido and Nohr. Adoptive or not, I'd rather not kill off any of Kamui's family.

There is confirmation of a third choice but from what we know you choose neither side. Which the only way I can see that going story wise is you try to take out both kingdoms because neither kingdom is "good". So you try to remove both and start anew.

I imagine Hoshido has alot of back deals going on sorta like Begnion and Crimea from FE 9 & 10 who had groups of people high in power finding ways to further their own selfish agendas.

Nohr is probably more like another Daein with a corrupt ruler that just desires a war to unleash something.

Really? That's the only way you can see it happening? Pardon me if this comes off as rude, but isn't that a little narrow-minded, friend? Not taking sides doesn't necessarily mean opposing both.

I seem to recall in a recent Direct a small clip of Kamui encountering some kind of monster. It's possible that there's a greater evil at play which you unite the kingdoms against, like in Sacred Stones.

Of course, this is all just conjecture. Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure it'll make for a good storyline. I'm just hoping that it doesn't involve killing off your families. Partially because I wouldn't want to fuck with Marx or Ryouma, but mostly because they all seem pretty likable. (Except for maybe Garon. One letter away from Ganon, "obviously evil" much?)
