Most people in-series know his name anyway, they just call him Mask because he wants to remain anonymous as his way of contributing to the cause of his people as a whole rather than for personal glory. Also, G-Reco was directed by Tomino, the man knows what he's doing when it comes to names, just look at his body of work. The man will come up with the most bizarre names, it's a bottomless well.
