I'm disappointed that the Upload WebM page doesn't have a link to install ffmpeg, because it's supported webm for fucking ever.

You don't need to convert your videos to WebM. The site supports uploading avi, mp4, and mpg/mpeg; they'll all automatically be converted to WebM when you upload them.
