Not really. She was really only doing her job and was ignorant of what was really going on. Besides, the only thing she's guilty of is killing a bunch of criminals and one main character who was also a criminal. Sure she was a little overboard but it's otherwise pretty easy to stay on her good side. If Night Raid had found her early on, she would be doing the same thing for their side.

You can not tell me you didn't see the fact that she straight up loved killing. She gets borderline orgasmic during some of her fights. That's not her fighting for justice, that's using that as an excuse for her own psychotic tendencies. Remember that Teigu only respond to specific individuals. And that Coro didn't like Tatsumi when he first saw him. (Tatsumi, the character that said things along the lines of "So you're like assasins of justice!") This would suggest he didn't respond to her "heart of Justice" as she claimed, but more her blood lust.
Yes she had a cute side, but then again so did Esdeath. Honestly, I'd be more inclined to forgive Esdeath than Seiryu. Esdeath was raised in a way that survival of the fittest was ingrained into her mind as a core value.

Now on to the actual subject. Are you saying it is okay to steal because if are poor? That crimes all of a sudden are excused if you have it a bit harsh? Also, how do you know that they stole because they were poor? The woman herself explicitly told Seryuu that she had been forced by the other bandits. Does that really sound like people that stole because they were poor? There is no Death penalty for stealing if this is the law.
Seryuu finds joy in fighting evil. It isn't the fighting itself but rather the idea of doing real good and fighting for justice.

Esdeath however fights for fighting itself. It isn't because of survival, it is because she truly enjoys fighting and torture. I don't dislike her character, but I find it funny how people demonize Seryuu but love a character that is exactly the type of character they accuse Seryuu of being.

Normally no, but in this instance, the manga totally justified those people stealing food, and if Seryu had done her job properly and listened to them, judge them fairly, she would have discovered why they were stealing food.

And neither did Seryu, why did you think wave got angry at her in that scene? Because she did the right thing and obeyed the law like an officer in her position should do? The Jaegers dont have permission to kill anyone they please, her job was to take those criminals into custody and let them be judged by someone with the proper knowledge of law, and not just kill everyone because it made her feel good and have orgasms while killing people. Seryuu knew damn well that the death penalty was not the call on that situation, and yet she killed those people and bullshited her way out of that situation by saying that it was "justice".
