You're all wrong! If a genie ever shows up and gives you one wish perform the following steps:
1) Wish for infinite wishes.
2) Save the world from utter destruction at the hands of the elements and people.
3) Begin using wishes for your selfish reasons!

At least that's what I'd do xD.

Alternatively if step one is not permitted than just perform step 1-B:
Step 1-B: Ask for the power to bring to life anything you think of and alternatively destroy it!
