Wow, I got confused with what you said and I were about to say that it were genderswap, but it is not.

It is Lady in Dante's outfit, we can see it by looking in her eyes, they are not of the same color.

No. It's not Lady.. at all. Hell, that's not even heterochromic. The one eye just appears darker than the other because it's shadowed by the messy hair, which Dante has in DMC3 btw. So it is a genderswap. But it puzzles me why Dante has brown hair. Just trust me. It's not Lady. She has one red eye and neither eye there is red.

Allow me to point something else out. Specifically, Lady's left eye is the red eye. This Lady is also missing her trademark facial scar.

So, either it is Lady, in which case the artist made a couple of mistakes (which can happen even in fanart as beautiful as this), or it's a gender-swapped Dante with brown hair for some reason. Personally, I lean towards the latter, but personal interpretation is what the audience makes of it.

i saw another version of this image with white hair instead of black and i think this was created after. pretty sure that's Dante. Rebellion on the back, ebony & Ivory in hand, and that smirk. pretty sure this is Dante

This is the original. It was done by Nekkeau, who is known for doing Genderswaps. This is definitely Dante.

Also, the eyes are the same color.

Both of the eyes are blue, the eyes look different because of the shadow over the right eye, making it appear darker.
I'm removing the Heterochromia tag and the Lady tag.
