Season 2 was absolute garbage. Season 3 was much better because there was better character development.

Honestly the problem with season 2 was that it didn't know when to stop like the stuff was Ken was good but after that everything was just messy

@pyro_princess_ashley: Personally I think Tamers had roster management problems just as any other Digimon series. In particularly introducing certain characters and then doing nothing with them, like the two friend characters who's names I forget. Guardramon didn't even get to turn back into Andromon. It also had a pretty awful Final Boss fight.

@Mymom: Apparently the writing teams changed, which is probably why things took a 180. The original writers who were replaced(who did the Digimon Emperor arc) moved on to do Tamers, which might explain the quality and consistency increase.

Season 3 is very overhyped, and the ‘character development’ wasn’t remarkable.

It also dragged a lot in the middle.
