In my imagination, the blood on the blade is just the three of them willingly giving the Master Sword (Fi) more power. It's a divine-made sword already...but why not give it more power, from the blood of those who inherit the Triforce?

Heck, Ganondorf is surprisingly in this image. It reminds me of that moment in the Intro for Super Smash Bros. Melee (when we see their arms cross each other's with their Triforce birthmarks showing).
