^ I have, that's the choice I opted for. But therein lies the problem as well. Google tells me Morgan is Lucina's possible brother, not child. Yet a bunch of ppl online keeps referring to Morgan as her child.

There's a contradiction somewhere.. just asking someone who played it what's the actual truth.

The truth is that Morgan is the child that's dependent on the Avatar of Awakening. Whoever the Avatar marries, they will produce a Morgan opposite of their gender. So you get people who say Morgan can be her child because a male Avatar can marry Lucina, while there are people saying Morgan is her brother because a female Avatar can marry her father, Chrom.
