It's a bit of a spoiler but, her Chespin is apparently sick or something when it came into contact with a Zygarde Core & they don't know how to treat it, so Lysandre ordered Alain to find the Zygarde Core to help heal her Chespin, but little does he know that he is being manipulated to find it, due to not knowing what Lysandre's true plan is.
