If it's the scene I think it is, he's about to die to allow them to escape with Euyrale and prevent Heracles from following them at least for a little while; short version is he's telling Euryale he loves her and thanking her for showing him he wasn't only a monster (She was the first person to call Asterios by his name- even his own father only ever called him 'the Minotaur')
