^ Might already be too late for some of the Goldens. Having re-watched and over-analyzed their KOs several times, I'm reasonably confident that Rie and Bianca's injuries were most likely survivable. (Even though they both took heavy blows to the neck/spine region, the fact they managed to keep standing for a moment or two before falling may suggest that their spinal cords were still intact, and even a damaged spinal cord is not necessarily fatal.)

Sania and Tonia on the other hand... well, barring anime-style defiance of realism, they may have suffered some pretty serious brain trauma and may or may not have been reduced to vegetables.
