Let's try to make this as innocent as possible.

The train appears to be incredibly crowded and this girl managed to find a seat. However, due to the large amounts of people, Steve (Let's call him Steve.) just managed to get onto the train for work. Due to conditions though, he was continuously shoved and pushed until he managed to find a spot to stand right in front of this girl. Hoping no one else will enter the train, to his horror someone does and he gets shoved towards her, merging his crotch to her conveniently placed chest. The bumps on the train not helping, he is trying his hardest not to get an erection and get filed a pervert and maybe lose his job.

Uh, I don't think that is what her smile means. I think it's more of a "She understands that the circumstances are not his fault and doesn't blame him" kind of awkward, reassuring smile.
