Saitama is the precursor to TTGL! And Genos never quite managing to catch up to his sensei is the anti spiral leader(he appropriately went bald but his sacrifice still wasn't enough...)

We all know that Saitama is VERY strong, but those around him aren't even close to his level of power and struggle with almost every enemy they come across. If Saitama was to go all out like the picture describes, then it's not because his opponent is strong.
He would have lost those close to him because of his opponent did them end, and that would be like a Revelation to Saitama. It would make him learn that even with the power to one-punch his enemies dead, he has his flaws. Which would suck because he would learn that the hard way.
