She spent some serious money there too... Limited Edition Halo 3, Wireless XBOX 360 Steering Wheel, Wireless Connector for online play... And let's not forget the amount of games that are sitting there too... All now useless thanks to three little red lights on her system.

Legendary Edition Halo 3 (Spartan helmet) - about $100 (have it)
X360 Wireless Racing Wheel - about $100 (have it too)
X360 WiFi Adapter - $99 (don't have that. Too pricey to be worth it)
X360 Premium console - $400 (when I bought mine, anyway)
Original Xbox console - $300 (when it was new)
Tons of games, the stereo, etc. - $??? (lots)

Either that girl is fucking rich, or this is more of an artist's wish fulfillment image than anything else.

As for the RROD, I've never had it happen to me. Not even once.

99% of the time, RRODs are caused by the console's improperly-designed heat sink mounts. Multiple hot-cold cycles eventually cause the mounting clamps to expand and contract until they lift off of the GPU or CPU, causing the console to trip a heat sensor and show the RROD.

All of this could have been avoided if Microsoft had used the same type of heat sink mounting bracket found on virtually all PC motherboards, but that probably would have taken up more space inside the case and increased the cost involved in its construction.
