The thing is, Flowey is Asriel (spoilers) and he has some redeeming qualities, ergo, he could be saved. The unicorn had none :P

Flowey is the remains of Asriel, but not Asriel himself. Flowey himself, by his own admission, is incapable of feeling emotions. He's a hollow shell, with no regard for compassion.

I think the world is safe from spoilers. everyone has already been overloaded with undertale. However. saying the spoiler then adding (spoiler) is stupid and I need to call you out on it in case you do it again in the future.
