Artists are able to do that because once they get into something they suddenly stop sleeping and eating and you go to bed because they've listened to the same song on repeat for 2 hours without saying a word but when you get up they are still coloring so now you get fanart like this in less than a day.
i've watched it happen a few times.
Like RWBY cares about potentially overpowered characters? Coco said something about making each count, so hopefully her 'copy' is a one shot thing. Potentially made more powerful/long lasting based on number and quality/photos of the subject.
Or Coco was just sour about ruining the surprise without having Velvet use a weapon against the original

There is theories that Velvet is indeed OP; I suppose.
But you have to understand that her weapon works as a camera, it takes a photo like a Polaroid. Then projects it; much like a 3d printed hologram. And it's been said in podcasts that it has a 'recharge' feature, like once the 'photo image' of the weapon is used she has to get another photo for it to work. Assuming she still has practically every weapon, she may indeed run out eventually.
Either way still a bad ass episode for the latest one; and a tug at heartstrings too.
