don't bother watching it, I started reading Fairy Tail back then when the manga only had 40 chapters and the show has gone downhill, all the arc and the same the villans are worthless, the only thing it has now it's fanservices.

Hell even one of the current villans was pushed aside only to have a cheap fanservice of Lucy. I just keep reading because I started long ago.

It's a standard punch shonen with boobs, but the fight only last two or three chapters on average instead of thirty, with just about as much content. I'd say it's about on par with One Piece in that the overarching plot isn't as interesting, but the pacing is way better and the art is pretty decent.

It's about wizards, similar to how One Piece is about pirates and Naruto is about ninjas. It's not all fanservice but cast is 55% females and it's still a shonen series so.

I give Mashima props for making some of the fights hype as fuck in like 10% of the pages that others would. You leave a Fairy Tail volume feeling like a read a lot more than say a Naruto volume, since a fight with similar content takes less than thirty fucking pages.

Yeah people give Mashima a hard time but Fairy Tail is a lot more tolerable than Bleach these days. Feels like Fairy Tail is actually about to end which Bleach was supposed to be doing 2 years ago
