And here we see a breed of loli, the mashiro mitsumine, attempting to flee from one of its more voracious predators, the benio yonomori. Known for their flaring orange locks and their particular hunger for the mashiro's tender flesh, the benio's second set of eyes that partially protrude from its face hones into its target before it makes a rapid leap for its next meal. Abruptly alarmed, the loli darts as fast as it can, using its nimbleness and small frame to its advantage, but it is no match for the benio's superior physical build. The mashiro had the grace of spotting the benio from a distance, but given the predator's speed, agility, and deathly gripping power, unless immediate shelter is close by, the mashiro cannot hope to escape its pursuer.

The benio soon catches up to the mashiro and latches onto it from behind. The orange locks of the benio are thrown forward by the momentum and waved in front of the mashrio's face, hindering the loli's sight and sending the target into a state of panic and confusion. The mashiro sends out a high-pitch cry in an attempt to seek help, but it is to no avail. The benio, having won this competition, peels away the loose outer coating and savors the flesh that it had successfully captured. The nearby animals look at the spectacle with unfazed indifference; to them, this is merely another day that a mashiro gets molested.

After waiting days in the steamy jungles of the school hallways, the photographer was able to capture this rare event.
