I've actually heard that American chocolate, Hershey specifically taste rather "fake" compared to other Countries chocolate. Can anyone support this claim? I've only had American chocolate in my life.

@KnightMare
It does taste different but I wouldn't exactly call it "Fake", I actually like it.

When I went to America I felt like everything in America has really overdone flavors. Like sweets are too sugary, salty stuff too salty, and fatty stuff is especially too greasy.
I think it might kinda explain why America has such a big obesity problem compared to any other country. Ultimately it boils down to personal responsibility but it's harder to eat healthy when almost everything on the store shelf is unhealthy.

The problem in America isn't that the shelves are mostly unhealthy, there are plenty of healthy things to choose from, however, healthy foods cost more money than junk foods, so poor Americans, which there are a lot of, can only afford those unhealthy foods in order to feed their families.
Sadly, this isn't a valid excuse for everyone in America, some have the money, but choose to be unhealthy, and others could have the money, but instead waste all of their money on pointless things out of their own greed.
