A Charmander who was a dick and a Charmeleon who was obedient. Ash should have gotten tips from this kid.

I remember when the only Pokemon that had 120HP were Chansey and Charizard (And Chansey has a huge HP stat in the video games so it makes perfect sense).

Now Wailord EX has 250HP. Is it possible to defeat in a few turns?

I never would have thought to try telling a story between evolution artwork; that would make a clever means of differentiating cards.

The funny thing is that I too freaked about the TCG's power creep, but in my brief experience with the modern game, the extra health can lead to longer games, in the enjoyable way.

Of course, a Charmeleon doing 80 damage for no drawback is hogwash.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is called power creep (go look on tv tropes), and it is quite sad that I can't use my sceptile from 2006 Ruby and Sapphire TCG to beat a fucking basic stage pokemon nowadays.
