Naruto must be careful during his gaiden and side story encounters that he does not forget whom the true enemy is. The Jinchūriki is on their way and so are the sphincter assassins. The daytime sun is darkened and the moon shines blood red during nighttime.

In Bakaragu evil deeds are done by evil men.
In Kirigakure the Akatsuki congregate under the clouded moon but it is all out in the open.
In Kusagakure the false ninja on the road, doesn't look more than a little bit queer.
In Konohagakure, the witch doctors on the streets sell lies and empty promises of hope to forlorn bypassers. The shinobi stutters and tumbles and falls. Fallen wings, broken things.

The bright lovely Hinata - seed of flowers - blooms just for him, but swords are sharpened in the distance - also just for him. Black sun - bloody moon. Dark deeds - bloody womb.
