You know I always wondered how people were able to pop a fresh eyeball from someone else in place of their own in this series so easily. I mean I guess I can excuse Madara since he's basically in god mode at this point but everyone else? How does that work? o_O. Kakashi just got his eye slashed and Rin somehow replaces it with Obito's and it works perfectly in within minutes.

Basically. The reason medical ninjitsu is so rare usually is because of the fact it requires a shit ton of research on how the human body works, nerves and all. Optic fibers are one of them and it's probably not too implausible that chakra could attach nerves together like that. Medic nins can heal a lot of injuries provided it's not something impossible like a giant hole in your chest.

If you are so interested in this stuff that you comment about it, then you should watch it. Madara actually uses Medical jutsu on the eye when he puts it in. Green energy stuff / chakra.

Madara does not need medjutsu at this point to heal himself, he as a cell regeneration factor. As for the eye, he needed this one to teleport to Kamui's dimension, where Obito was with the 2nd Rinnegan eye.

@ leatherhead93: Well, with Rin being a medic she did an in field operation. We don't know just how long it took her, but it could have been quite some time.

Madara and Obito have hyper regeneration from having fused with Hashirama's cells and gaining his haxxed regen power.

Sasuke actually had to wait quite some time after he had his brother's eyes transplanted before he could use them again. My guess is that, though Obito had the basics of medical nin he couldn't perform it as well as a trained medic, such as Rin. Thought thinking on it, they never really did explain how that works....did he replace Sasuke's eyes, merge them (and how?) or what?
