She has appeared in the movies several times now and has yet to show off her powers. Which is ridiculous considering pretty much everyone takes any given opportunity to show off their powers. Both Pyro and Iceman did it in class and Kitty Pryde walked through the wall after talking with Xavier when there was a perfectly good door there. Or how about when Multiple Man stepped out of his confining cell? Jubilee's gotta be the one mutant trying to blend in and not be a total showboating attention whore.

Maybe producers fear adding Jubilee will feel too much like the 80s cartoon, feeling it as a bad thing. It would be pretty stupid from them to thnk like that, but i wouldn't be surprised...

90's cartoon actually, Dazzler was 80's. Bryan Singer is always trying to change her powers to lightning bolts for some stupid reason. Her powers have always been Plasma blasts, they just look and sound like fireworks due to her backstory as a homeless panhandler. As well as her lack of training/unwillingness to hurt people. Give her some anime style training and she'll be throwing Hadoukens around/rapid firing star wars bolts from her fingers/Sparkler plasma fist Terry Bogard style. It's not that hard to make her a snarky badass.
