I know some people thinks Rohan is a dick,proud and etc but...maybe he just make everything to get better and better with his profession because he looks so passionate and people are greedy or just feel lower than him or something and he don't want people like that near his so he isolated himself and when he founds a new friend, a real friend even if Koichi can't think him like that at all he just don't know how to act or do and don't want him to go away...maybe he just want that,a real friend which stay at his side all the time,maybe not in a homo way but yeah... I know this message is stupid but I think I thought like that about him because I feel the same...and I know he is just a fictional character but I love JoJo because in some ways the series makes me relate with his characters in a way or another
