I'm going to assume you simply aren't aware that the site already has filter options each user can personalize. You can search for -newhalf or -futa or -yaoi (or all three at the same time, even), and you'll see every picture except ones with those tags. Or you could use the blacklist, which you don't actually need an account for -- go to My Account, Options, type whatever tags you don't want to see in the blacklist box, and save your settings.

(Or you can click on images you already know you don't want to see just so you can leave a comment about how much you didn't want to see them. But that won't keep you from seeing them, and it's likely to annoy other users, so that really won't solve your problem.)

And yes we're aware of the filters #1980811 but the main page is filter less and we get to see the damn thumbnails against our will and that shouldn't be the case. That's what #1980794 was trying to say.

Okay, I'm going to break this down as simply as I can for you guys.

Go to the actual main page - gelbooru.com/
There are no thumbnails there.
Copy this: -newhalf -futanari -yaoi -trap
Paste it in the search box.
Click on the search button. You will no longer see thumbnails for any image with those tags. Repeat these steps with each new browsing session.

OR go here: gelbooru.com/index.php?page=account&s=options
Copy this: newhalf futanari yaoi trap
Paste it in the Tag Blacklist box at the top of the page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Save Settings button. Browse as usual.
As long as you don't clear your cookies for Gelbooru, those tags will remain blacklisted. You don't have to do this for each browsing session. Unlike the first option thumbnails will still show, however they will be blank so you will not be exposed to any content you dislike.

It's really that simple to avoid this stuff. The site already has all the tools you need. Please use them. Blacklists and tag filters allows futa fans and non-fans to stay out of each other's hair. It's a win-win for everyone. Commenting on any image to bash the shown fetish and its fans, on the other hand, will accomplish nothing. (Except maybe starting a fight that won't change the site rules or anyone's mind and will pretty much just be a big annoying waste of everyone's time. Let's not do that.)

But it's a site that depends on user upload, either directly or via Danbooru. Everyone who browse the site is exposed to content they dislike, because people's tastes are different. Either you can stand it, or you can't, and then you take the steps necessary to stop seeing it.

The main page might not completely remove blacklisted posts from view, but it does cover them up so that you can't see the thumbnails, assuming you have JavaScript enabled, which I'm going to assume you do because you were able to click "Respond" and get a text box to post a comment.

If we were to ever implement a "filter", like anon1 suggested, it would literally just do the exact same thing.

Yes, it may do just that, but without the need for the user having to *actually* go out of their ways to type random minus commands in the search engine.
Is it too tasking to make that easy feature perhaps or are you guys just lazy? Oh no we are the ones who have to do the heavy lifting right? No this site is a service not a do it yourself page no matter how "easy" it is to remove small tags here and there that needs to be known about first to filter them out.
Since you guys made this page you guys know of every filter that has homosexual interests in them, therefore it's you guys task to make it possible without the need for the user to go through *ever* single one of them to filter them out with the press of a single button.
Does that make *any* sense to any of you or are you guys literally this dense not to understand this?
