Charizard for Mega Evolution sake simply HAS to return and not just get its anime cameo in the Origins special which is unique as is, its based on R/B yet we saw Mega Charizard X

I'm guessing you haven't watched Best Wishes in which case I'll inform you that Charizard stays with Oak now as does Gliscor. Bulbasaur was never released and also stays with Oak.

Why do people keep mentioning Butterfree? It left to start a family with it's new mate. Why would Ash drag a retired dad onto the battlefield? And, honestly, who gives a damn about Pidgeot? Or is this just because it has a Mega Evolution?
