Their trainer is a girl named Polt: under Polt’s guidance Miia and the others will try out the various facilities. However, when Kimihito is amazed by Mero the mermaid’s graceful swimming, Miia gets jealous. Before long, Kimihito is the prize as a swimming competition beyond human comprehension gets underway...

Personal theory: Ms. Smith will the be the one Kimihoto ends up with. The punch line of the series will be that "Ms. Smith" becomes "Mrs. Smith". (Yes, I know that it's a Matrix reference.)
It seems that they both have the ability to adapt to weirdness and help weird people acclimate. Rather than any of the girls it seems like she's the best match for him. It honestly seems more and more that rather than taking advantage of him, she's just training him. Knowing Smith, though, she WILL dump her workload on him when he's trained. A husband has to be good for something, right?
