I reckon that the chrono harness is an AOE so having it close by isn't much different than wearing it, so she'll be okay. Otherwise how would it be able to stabilize her feet/arms etc. when she's wearing it.

Actually, Tracer wears a portable version. Most things, like Watchpoint gibraltar where she's stationed at, or the dropships have bigger versions built in so she can take it off and do stuff like change clothes, bathe, or sleep. She needs to wear it when she's out but she CAN take it off.
