@BaconMinion: Not really. According to ZUN, death is a state that Mokou can not ever exist in. Her body might disappear in flame but she is not dead.

Well, yes, she does DIE, as in physically, but she doesn't die MENTALLY (or rather, she's reborn with every death). That's what the whole immortality of the soul is about.
What the post is talking about in terms of "death" is death of a character. A literary death only counts as a death if the character stays dead. Mokou kinda can't do that even if she wanted to. Bitch just keeps coming back.
