Anon 3 again. Just dawned on me that maybe I should elaborate a little. See, to my knowledge most folks pronounce Arceus as something like Ar-see-us. However its name seems to derive from 'archaic' and 'deus,' the Latin word for god, which would suggest the pronunciation is something more like Ar-kay-us or Ar-key-us.

It's SUPPOSED to be Ar-see-us, and that's how they pronounce it in Japanese. In Japanese, RKS System is called AR System.
However, in the English localization, it was changed to Ar-key-us, because Ar-see-us sounds like the world "arse".

"Ar-See-us" "Ar-Key-us" "Ar-Say-us" I-Say-Thus unto you mortals
God is a being whom has had many faces and names throughout the eons As long as you speak with respect and love there is no harm in pronouncing those names however you want
for God's true name is all names at once for he is everything.
